I offer a caring environment free from judgment for you to explore your feelings. I will work alongside you to develop life-changing habits and help you become the person you wish to be.
You may be facing unhappiness or frustration in relationships. Or perhaps you are coping with infidelity, addictions, financial strain, frequent conflict, emotional distance, loss of trust, or jealousy. I can support you to explore your emotions, recognise and resolve conflict and examine unhelpful patterns of behaviour to build clearer communication habits and stronger relationships.
Perhaps you are feeling lost in the mix of life? Whatever stage of life you are at, or whatever transition you are facing, we can work together to deepen your self-awareness and find ways to help you feel more connected and fulfilled. Working your way through loss, divorce, separation, or any significant life or career change can be difficult, I can help you find calm and positivity during turbulent times.
Life can feel overwhelming, and it is common to feel alone when coping with anxiety and depression. I can help you to explore your feelings in a safe place. Simply come to counselling as you are and say what needs to be said. If you are facing feelings of loneliness, fear, guilt or worthlessness, please do not struggle alone.
I have extensive experience with a national bereavement charity in supporting people through the twists and turns of the grieving process. I have worked closely with many people through the depths of loss and separation, and I can offer you support during this most vulnerable time.
If you are not sure who you are or where you belong, or if it feels uncomfortable to be you, I can help you find your way, feel confident, and enjoy this time of your life. You may be facing difficulties with anxiety, relationships, school, college or work. Perhaps you are struggling with issues such as self-harm, eating disorders, or just enjoying life. If so, I am here to help you navigate this challenging time.
If you find you are your own harshest critic, feel under pressure to be perfect, compare yourself unfavourably to others, or constantly feel inadequate, I can help you explore the way you feel and change your view of yourself and others.
I am a qualified counsellor and an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I am a Relate trained, qualified relationship counsellor (Counselling and Psychotherapy Central Awarding Body), and I am qualified with the British Menopause Society in cognitive behavioural therapy for menopause symptoms.
I have a special interest in working with relationship difficulties, such as separation, divorce, affairs, control or abuse, stepfamily issues and parenting. I also work extensively with life stage transitions, such as adolescence, parenthood, menopause, older adults and bereavement.
I am passionate about supporting people on their journey for meaning and purpose.
I work with a relational focus and believe that the quality of the relationships in our lives significantly affects our wellbeing, be it our relationship with ourselves, our partner, our family, or our wider connections.
I have experience working within the educational sector and helping teenagers and young adults figure out who they are, where they belong, overcome anxiety and to live confidently and happily.
Are you looking for an approachable, relatable, supervisory relationship full of honesty, humour, and knowledge? I offer a down to earth, warm, and supportive collaborative supervisory space for therapists working with individuals, couples, and teenagers.
I believe supervision can be a safe and nurturing space that allows exploration, self-reflection, and development of knowledge and efficacy. My approach is strongly relational and integrative, informed by person-centred, psychodynamic, and systemic modalities. I have a passion for sub-personality and part work, and enjoy working in intuitive, creative, and embodied ways.
My work is underpinned by the seven-eyed model of supervision, which allows us to take a flexible and holistic approach to you as a therapist, your work with your client, and our supervisory relationship.
If you are interested, please contact me to arrange an initial discussion to consider how we could work together to create an exciting supervisory relationship that can explore challenges and celebrate successes.
My fees for counselling are £60 per session for individuals, £75 per session for couples. Sessions are one hour.
My fees for clinical supervision are £60 for one hour, or £80 for 90 minutes.
I believe that therapy should be accessible for everyone and therefore I offer a limited amount of spaces at a reduced rate for students and those on low income or benefits.
An initial 15-minute telephone or zoom consultation is free. This will give you the opportunity to ask any questions and to help us decide if we would like to work together.
