About me
I am a qualified counsellor and an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I am a Relate trained, qualified relationship counsellor (Counselling and Psychotherapy Central Awarding Body), and I am qualified with the British Menopause Society in cognitive behavioural therapy for menopause symptoms.
I have a special interest in working with relationship difficulties, such as divorce, separation, affairs, control or abuse, stepfamily issues and parenting. I also work extensively with life stage transitions, such as adolescence, parenthood, menopause, older adults, and bereavement.
I am passionate about supporting people on their journey for meaning and purpose.
I work with a relational focus and believe that the quality of the relationships in our lives significantly affects our wellbeing, be it our relationship with ourselves, our partner, family, or wider contexts.
I have experience working within the educational sector and helping teenagers and young adults figure out who they are, where they belong, overcome anxiety, and to live confidently and happily.
